✅ Eligibility for PM-KISAN Scheme:
Eligible Farmers:
Small and marginal farmers who own up to 2 hectares of cultivable land.
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
The farmer must have land registered in their name.
Aadhaar-based e-KYC is mandatory.
Ineligible Farmers:
Government employees (state/central/PSU).
Income Tax payers.
Institutional landholders (e.g., trusts, companies).
Retired pensioners receiving ₹10,000/month or more.
Professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers, and CAs who are practicing.
How to Apply for PM-KISAN Scheme:
Method 1: Online Self-Registration
Go to the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in
Click on “Farmers Corner” > “New Farmer Registration”.
Enter your Aadhaar number and complete the captcha.
Verify using OTP sent to your registered mobile.
Fill the application form – name, address, land details, bank details, etc.
Submit the form and save the acknowledgement.
Method 2: Through CSC (Common Service Center)
Visit your nearby CSC center.
Carry:
Aadhaar Card
Land ownership documents
Bank passbook
Mobile number
The CSC operator will fill the application for you.
How to Check Application or Payment Status:
Visit: https://pmkisan.gov.in
Under “Farmers Corner”, click on “Beneficiary Status”.
Enter your Aadhaar or mobile number to check your payment/installment status.
✅ What is PM-KISAN Scheme?
PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) is a government scheme under which eligible farmers get ₹6,000 per year, paid in three installments of ₹2,000 each, directly to their bank accounts.
